We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals to maintain Canberra's urban forest.

  • The successful applicant will contribute to a knowledgeable team carrying out tree maintenance tasks, including planting, watering, and follow-up maintenance of newly planted trees; maintenance of established trees; removal of dead and dying trees; administration of the Tree Protection Act 2005; assessment of tree-related claims; and provision of technical advice on tree-related matters.

Responsibilities:

Tree Maintenance Tasks: Planting, watering, and follow-up maintenance of newly planted trees; maintenance of established trees; removal of dead and dying trees.

Administration: Administration of the Tree Protection Act 2005; assessment of tree-related claims; provision of technical advice on tree-related matters.

Technical Expertise: Knowledge of tree care, pruning, and removal techniques; ability to assess tree health and provide recommendations for improvement.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
