Roster Management Specialist

The role involves completing data entry into the computerized roster system, ensuring all changes are made in a timely and efficient manner.
As a Roster Clerk, you will communicate with staff at various levels of the organization via phone and in-person. This fast-paced position requires calling in 'Casual' Staff, booking and confirming shifts as requested by Nurse Unit Managers through approval from Nurse Managers for the specific Network.
Maintaining and updating Casual Staff Rosters, assisting in processing rosters, payroll, and general inquiries, as well as manipulating staffing on wards to achieve optimal skill mix are key responsibilities.
Achieved through reorganizing staff/ward placements if necessary.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent customer service focus, demonstrated communication skills, ability to prioritize a demanding workload with proven problem-solving skills.
Experience with Health Roster system or equivalent experience with rostering within a large complex organization is desirable.
Good time management and organization skills, demonstrated computer literacy, accuracy, and conciseness in documentation are essential requirements.
