Aboriginal Health Services Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Aboriginal Health Worker Coordinator.
The role will guide the delivery of high-quality, equitable, accessible, and cost-effective services to Aboriginal children, young people, and families within the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN).
The job holder will be responsible for the operations of the Aboriginal Health Hub (AHH) and direct line management of the Aboriginal Health Workers.
The role will contribute to the implementation of the SCHN Aboriginal Health Strategic Plan and monitor indicators of health in Aboriginal children, young people, and families.
Key priorities addressed will be consistent with and complementary to the strategic directions of relevant policies within the NSW Ministry of Health.
- Enhance service delivery
- Address health inequities
- Improve access to appropriate health services and programs
Additional responsibilities include working collaboratively with the Director of Aboriginal Health, other Service Directors, and Department Heads to achieve these goals.
