Lead Accounts Receivable Professional

A leading commercial law firm is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team in Melbourne.
This role involves managing client payment arrangements, following up on overdue accounts and resolving queries.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable and strong communication skills. Full training and mentoring are provided for the right individual.

Responsibilities
- Manage client payment arrangements and follow up on overdue accounts via calls and emails.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts accurately.
- Resolve client queries and maintain detailed records of collection activities and client communications.
- Assist the finance team with finance-related duties as required.
- Similar experience (1-2 years) in an accounts receivable or finance role gained within a corporate environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
