This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on professional development.Position OverviewThe Accounts Receivable Manager will lead and manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and receipts, and the effective collection of outstanding debts.
This role is critical in maintaining healthy cash flow, strengthening client relationships, and improving the organisation's working capital position.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the end-to-end accounts receivable processEnsure timely and accurate invoicing and reconciliation of customer accountsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients to support prompt collectionsMonitor aged debt and implement effective collection strategiesWork closely with internal departments (sales, operations, legal) to resolve billing issuesManage credit risk by assessing customer creditworthiness and setting credit limitsPrepare regular AR and cash flow reports for senior managementImplement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyEnsure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulationsKey RequirementsProven experience in an Accounts Receivable Manager or Senior AR role, ideally within a fast-paced or technology-driven environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships internally and externallyHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailProficiency in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Xero, MYOB, or similar) and Microsoft ExcelSolid understanding of accounting principles and credit control practicesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (preferred but not essential)What's on OfferJoin a rapidly growing technology organisation at the forefront of innovationWork in a collaborative and flexible team environmentCompetitive salary and employee benefitsCentrally located office in the heart of Melbourne CBD, with hybrid work optionsAdd your cover letter for supporting information here.Upload a CV *Upload your CV to accompany your application for this job.Please tick this box to consent to us using your data.
