About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Career Development Guide to join our team, supporting job seekers in their employment journey with empathy and understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with First Nations job seekers, fostering trust and confidence
  • Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to enhance work readiness
  • Collaborate with clients to identify career goals and create personalized job plans
  • Connect job seekers with relevant training, employment, and community services
  • Liaise with employers to ensure sustainable employment outcomes
  • Ensure accurate records and compliance with contractual requirements
Requirements
  • Proven experience in guiding or coaching individuals in a professional setting
  • Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and experiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance to support First Nations Jobseekers
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Knowledge of local industry-specific job requirements and career pathways
  • Experience in creating personalized job plans for individuals
  • Background in employment services, youth work, community services, or mentoring highly regarded
  • Proficiency in using relevant coaching tools and software
  • WWCC and ability to pass police check/driver's license required
