Corporate Banking Associate

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Banking Associate to join our Australian team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Top Tier Local Corporates and making informed lending decisions to support business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Risk Management: Ensure credit requirements are met by working in partnership with Institutional Credit Management & Underwriting.
  • Network Management: Coordinate with Products teams to ensure appropriate credit limits are in place to support client activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the support banker to the PAM for a portfolio of key corporate clients.
  • Business Development: Support pitching activities to deliver cross-sell across Banking, Markets, and Services.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, capital markets, advisory or a related financial services role.
  • Foundational knowledge of corporate finance principles, capital markets, and transaction banking products.
  • Strong credit analysis skills and a solid understanding of risk management.
  • Ability to develop client relationships at a junior level and work in a fast-paced environment with independence.

Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
