Support Worker Job Description

About the Role

The Support Worker will work closely with clients, providing assistance with daily tasks, meal preparation, care needs, and goal achievement. You will be responsible for ensuring client safety and compliance with procedures at all times.

  • You will also be working in various support ratios from 1:1 to 1:6, building genuine relationships with clients and prioritizing their well-being.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to clients with tasks such as picking, packing, and labeling in a warehouse environment.
  • Keep clients motivated and engaged throughout their tasks.
  • Deliver high-quality support to clients with meal preparation, care needs, and goal achievement.
  • Work in various support ratios from 1:1 to 1:6.
  • Build genuine relationships with clients and prioritize their well-being.
  • Ensure client safety and compliance with procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar qualification.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Australian work rights.
  • Willingsness to complete National and International Police Check (paid by us).
  • Ability to complete Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (paid for by us).
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations.
