Job Title

Vice President – Structured Credit Syndicator APAC

Role Summary

The Vice President will be responsible for pricing, structuring and underwriting non-flow (PF / asset finance) and flow (corporate / leveraged) loan products originated in Australia/New Zealand.

This involves working closely with the Origination business lines throughout the origination process, including client-facing activities such as pitching and marketing.

The successful candidate will also work with the APAC credit sales team to initiate and push non-flow/flow credit products sales to investors, as part of primary and extended primary syndication processes.

Additionally, they will provide distribution input for the portfolio management team during secondary/portfolio sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing, structuring, and underwriting non-flow (PF/asset finance) and flow (corporate/leveraged) loan products originated in Australia/New Zealand.
  • Working closely with the Origination business lines on client-facing activities, including pitching and marketing.
  • Collaborating with the APAC credit sales team on non-flow/flow credit products sales to investors.
  • Providing distribution input for the portfolio management team during secondary/portfolio sales.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. Bachelor or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  2. No less than 6 years of experience in Investment Banking, preferably in a Loan Syndicate role.
  3. A proven track record of building strong relationships with clients, business lines, and bank and non-bank investors.
  4. Strong technical knowledge of the Australian/New Zealand loan syndication markets, underlying players/investors, and specific focus on project and asset finance, fund financing, corporate, and leveraged loans.
  5. Excellent analytical skills, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
