Loan Portfolio Specialist

The role of Loan Portfolio Specialist is pivotal in the institutional credit management process. Working closely with Global Spread Products' ABS and Residential mortgage origination team, this individual underwrites, manages, and administers multi-billion-dollar warehouse loan portfolios.
Securitized loan warehouses are secured by pools of consumer receivables, SME business loans, or residential mortgages. This position is accountable for significant direct business results and authoritative advice regarding credit and operations.
- Underwrite requests and prepare credit memos for complex securitized loan portfolios.
- Conduct due diligence, review and prepare credit packages for approval; follow through on required approvals.
- Prepare reviews to track borrower compliance with covenants or triggers in the Credit Agreement.
Annual reviews involve testing financial feasibility and credit worthiness of securitized loans warehouses. The ideal candidate demonstrates a solid understanding of Corporate Banking, Global Markets, and the broader organization.
This role requires familiarity with credit policies and practices, as well as regulatory policies, to achieve compliance and satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.
