Loan Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Loan Specialist.

  • Deliver a comprehensive service for clients, from initial application assessment to fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers and brokers to workshop applications as required and provide application decision outcomes.
  • Assess client loan applications within established credit risk guidelines;
  • Manage a pipeline of applications ensuring a seamless customer journey, working closely with our Customer Services team;
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality risk standards;
  • Support colleagues and contribute to team performance;
  • Liaise with clients in a professional manner providing regular updates on application progress.
  • Work autonomously with attention to detail and strong data entry skills;

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in residential credit assessment, currently hold a Delegated Lending Authority, and possess experience assessing complex loans such as bridging loans, commercial, trust and company loans.

A successful Loan Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring lending practices meet regulatory standards.
