Looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as an HR Consultant.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to work on a part-time basis (15–20 hours per week) managing our long-term clients across various regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home or in clients' offices, mainly in Sunshine Coast and Brisbane areas.

  • This role will involve providing expert advice on compliance and best practices, reviewing and developing employment contracts, policies, and handbooks.
  • You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, managing your own caseload, and supporting our team of HR Consultants.
The Scope of Work

As an HR Consultant, you will have a generalist focus, supporting all aspects of HR including:

  1. Recruitment and selection
  2. Learning and development
  3. HR administration
  4. Performance management
  5. Remuneration
  6. Risk management
  7. Compliance
  8. Workplace health, wellbeing and safety
  9. HR reporting
To Be Successful in This Role

You will need to demonstrate experience in a similar generalist HR Coordinator, Advisor, Officer or consulting role. Ideally, you will have experience across disability services, community services, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, retail, hospitality, mining, trades, and building sectors.

  • You should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
  • A high level of computer literacy is essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Office software packages.
  • You will also need to possess project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
