Job Description:

This senior-level position involves developing next-generation quantum magnetometers that operate in harsh fielded environments. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in quantum sensing and contribute to groundbreaking research projects.

The selected individual will work closely with experts in the field to develop novel quantum control solutions, perform time series analysis, and translate sensor data into practical capabilities for various industries.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop noise compensation techniques using advanced digital signal processing and machine learning methods.
  • Implement state-of-the-art algorithms to enhance the performance of real-world quantum magnetometers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and validate developed sensing solutions on real hardware.
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality software and document technical results through academic publications and reports.
Requirements:
  • PhD in physics, electronic engineering, computer science, or mathematics.
  • Experience in theory, numerical modelling, and/or optimization of optically-pumped magnetometry, quantum atomic physical systems, and pulse-level optimisation techniques.
  • Expertise in time and frequency digital signal processing, adaptive filtering, and Kalman filtering.
  • Strong background in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
