Industrial Hose and Hydraulics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Hose and Hydraulics Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional to take on a key role in preparing customer orders for dispatch.

  • Assemble and test hose assemblies to ensure high-quality products
  • Follow established procedures for workshop duties, including work orders, schedules, and registers
  • Become familiar with and utilize the hose management program (HMP) to optimize workflow and efficiency
  • Receive, unpack, and store goods according to procedure, ensuring accurate stock management
  • Assist with stock takes and maintain accurate records
  • Operate forklifts/machinery and use power tools as required, maintaining a safe working environment

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare customer orders for dispatch by assembling and testing hose assemblies
  2. Implement efficient workshop procedures, including work orders, schedules, and registers
  3. Maintain strong knowledge of the hose management program (HMP)
  4. Perform receiving, unpacking, and storage of goods according to procedure
  5. Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate stock management and timely dispatch
  6. Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to industry standards

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a current driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment, demonstrating physical fitness and energy
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing standards and experience in the industrial hose and hydraulics industry
  • Forklift license desirable but not essential
