Job Opportunity

This is a part-time locum position that involves providing direct patient and family care in the setting of Specialist Clinics-Orthopaedics. You will assess and manage common musculoskeletal problems including knee injuries, scoliosis, gait and posture complaints, hip dysplasia, clubfoot (Ponseti technique). The physiotherapist in the Orthopaedic Assessment Clinic provides a screening role to facilitate timely and high-quality orthopaedic care for children.

  • Working autonomously as a key member of a great team will be your core responsibility.
  • Excelling in interpersonal skills and maintaining a professional demeanour are essential requirements.
  • Possessing advanced clinical expertise and theoretical knowledge in the assessment and management of patients for required caseload will be necessary.

Essential Requirements:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with extensive clinical experience and a specific interest in paediatric orthopaedic care preferred
Professional registration with the relevant authority
Compliance with continuing professional development and recency of practice guidelines
Upholding the code of conduct required
Current National Criminal Record Check or willingness to obtain one
Valid Working with Children Check
Compliance with immunisation procedures
