We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Liaison Specialist to join our team in South West Victoria. This is a part-time (0.1 FTE) fixed term opportunity that will commence in November/December 2024.

About the Role

As a Medical Liaison Specialist, you will collaborate with medical education teams, practice managers, and supervisors to support GP training. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advocating for the needs of GP registrars participating in RACGP training programs;
  • Supporting medical education by developing and updating learning materials, answering questions from members and staff, and revising guides and training resources;
  • Providing day-to-day support to the Training Programs Department on medical education-related matters;
  • Working with management to inform quality improvements relevant to the practice environment.

You will be passionate about assisting registrars and GP training, and possess strong communication and advocacy skills. Ideally, you will have experience in general practice performance assessment and education/training development, as well as completed at least six months of GP community-based training within the AGPT program.
