The Medical Science Liaison Manager role at Novo Nordisk Oceania is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals and lead our Medical Science Liaison team.

About the role

  • Develop and execute a strong Medical Affairs strategy to advance the medical and scientific objectives of Novo Nordisk.
  • Coach and mentor Medical Science Liaisons to build strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, identify key opinion leaders, and drive scientific engagement.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing MSL team to deliver exceptional results in the field.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of Medical Affairs initiatives.
  • Ensure strict medical compliance in all MSL daily activities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, such as MBBS, PhD, BPharm, or BSc.
  • Proven experience in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment, preferably in the pharma industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proven ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with external experts, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
  • People management experience and a strong track record of leadership.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
