The estimated annual salary for this Mathematics & Numeracy Learning Leader position is around $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
This Full-Time role involves developing, documenting, and implementing the Mathematics curriculum across years 7-12 in line with VCAA requirements. As a Learning Leader, you will be responsible for fostering continuous improvements in pedagogy, assessment practices, and supporting staff in developing successful teaching strategies across all year levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
• Committed to the values and ethos of Catholic education
• Successful teaching experience with a demonstrated capacity to initiate improvements in teaching, learning, and classroom practice
• Postgraduate study in a relevant field or intentions for future study
• Ability to foster and develop appropriate relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community
• Strong collaborative and teamwork skills within a school environment
• Effective planning and resource management abilities to support the education programs of the school
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Organizational and administrative proficiency, with the capacity to handle changing priorities, deadlines, and pressure
• Dedication to ongoing professional learning and a spirit of generosity
• Valid VIT Registration
