Job Description:
Safety First
As our new Aerospace Maintenance Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing and developing approved maintenance programs (AMP) for our Jetstar and customer fleets. Your expertise will ensure that our aircraft are airworthy and meet the highest safety standards.
You'll work closely with our engineering team to deliver superior safety standards, up-to-the-second solutions, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to effectively negotiate and collaborate will be instrumental in achieving our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- AMP Development: Assess and develop approved maintenance programs (AMP) for our Jetstar and customer fleets.
- Communication: Deliver AMP revisions for Qantas Group AOCs within agreed timelines.
- Evaluation: Provide annual effectiveness reviews for AMP content.
- Compliance: Ensure ICA compliance is incorporated within each AMP according to NAA specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with reliability and Fleet management teams to provide optimized AMP schedules.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree qualification in the Engineering field.
- Proven experience working with Airbus and Boeing ICA for AMP review.
- Developed experience in AMP development.
- Experience with NAA.
- Qualification in MSG-3 process (highly desired).
