Information Systems Cybersecurity Specialist

Seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Officer to provide operational support to the organization's information systems security implementation policy, procedures, and guidelines.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization packages and notify the ISSM of any changes that may impact authorization determinations.
- Coordinate hardware, software, and firmware modifications with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to implementation.
- Monitor system recovery processes to guarantee the restoration of security features and procedures.
- Maintain current and accessible IS security-related documentation and ensure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented.
- Pursue required technical and security training to enhance assigned duties.
- Execute the cybersecurity portion of self-inspections, providing security coordination and review of system assessment plans.
- Identify and assist in resolving cyber security vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures.
- Compile reports on security safeguards applied to computer systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- CISSP, Security+, or equivalent certifications.
- MCSA or equivalent skills.
