Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of information systems within an organization.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating with IT teams to ensure the implementation of secure systems and processes.

A strong background in cybersecurity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential requirements for this role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with security authorization packages.
  • Coordinate changes or modifications to hardware, software, or firmware of a system with the ISSM and AO/DAO prior to the change.
  • Monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctly.
  • Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individuals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity).
  • CISSP, Security +, or equivalent certification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a current ISSO role with IA Certifications may suffice for degree.
