Electrical Network Specialist

This is an opportunity to work in the Substations area of Operations Delivery as an Electrical Network Specialist.

  • Provide engineering services and solutions to the Operations Delivery group in the construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of Tasmania's Transmission and Distribution electrical networks.
  • Work in areas of technical field support, continuous improvement, operational risk management and quality assurance.
  • Interface with Asset Management, Network Operations and Project Management business units to co-ordinate and support implementation of initiatives and projects that impact Operations Delivery.

About You

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential).
  • Have sound knowledge of power system engineering principles.
  • Have extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of high voltage plant and equipment.
