Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects.

Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality designs for resources and industrial projects. You will also be involved in High Voltage and Low Voltage protection systems design, termination drawing design, and system modelling and performance analysis using industry software.

In addition, you will prepare and review specifications for tenders and proposals, support commissioning and quality inspections on site as required, and collaborate with external design partners and internal delivery teams to get projects built.

You will also be responsible for risk assessment, asset management, project management, and performance monitoring.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience with Diploma
  • Attention to detail in document and Drawing Quality is highly regarded
  • A minimum of 6 years' experience in industrial / resources or a similar industry
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and professional integrity
  • You will be self-motivated, able to work across teams, and committed to managing your responsibilities with initiative and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to influence outcomes and resolve technical problems through collaboration and innovation
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Australian regulations, industry standards, and statutory engineering requirements
