Design Manager Position Overview

This role involves overseeing design documentation and consultant outputs. Key responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing design queries, and ensuring timely resolution of design challenges.

  • Support the Senior Design Manager in coordinating design documentation and consultant outputs.
  • Manage day-to-day design queries and ensure documentation aligns with project requirements.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design challenges quickly.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in design management or coordination, ideally on Class 2 residential or shopping centre projects.

Strong documentation and coordination skills (Revit, AutoCAD, or similar exposure a plus) are essential. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, detail-focused, and collaborative—someone who takes ownership of their role while supporting senior leadership.
