Job Opportunity: OHS Officer

The Occupational Health and Safety team seeks highly motivated professionals to fill the role of OHS Officers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operational requirements by identifying, assessing and mitigating hazards within the OH&S management system.
  • Identify and reduce health and wellbeing risks, ensuring staff safety through the implementation of appropriate controls.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines related to OH&S, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits and inspections to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, management and external partners.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certification in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in OHS, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling identification and mitigation of potential hazards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing customer service and satisfaction.
