The Production Quality Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of poultry products while maintaining strict quality standards. Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform meat processing tasks, including cutting, grading, deboning, and packing poultry.
  • Rotate through different workstations, inspecting poultry for quality and identifying defects.
  • Operate and maintain processing equipment as required.
  • Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and weighing of products per company specifications.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to meet production targets and efficiency goals.
Quality Control & Compliance
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards, including HACCP requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on meat products and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain clean and hygienic work areas in compliance with sanitation protocols.
  • Report any non-conforming products, equipment malfunctions, or food safety concerns.
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S)
  • Follow all OH&S regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safe work procedures to minimize risks.
