Job Title: Production Specialist

Overview:
Hazeldenes, a leading poultry brand, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various meat processing tasks, including cutting, grading, deboning, and packing poultry.
  • Rotate through different workstations, ensuring efficient production and meeting quality standards.
  • Inspect poultry for quality, identifying defects such as bruises, broken bones, or missing internal parts.
  • Operate and maintain processing equipment, following standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure accurate labeling, packaging, and weighing of products per company specifications.
Quality Control & Compliance:
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards, including HACCP requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on meat products and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain clean and hygienic work areas in compliance with sanitation protocols.
Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S):
  • Follow all OH&S regulations, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report safety hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to safe work procedures to minimize risks.
Teamwork & Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, team members, and quality assurance personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and report issues to supervisors as needed.
