About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Strategist to join our team at Telstra Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction and framework for our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy and Vision
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy for Telstra Enterprise, focusing on enhancing customer engagement, showcasing our capabilities, and driving growth.
    • Define long-term digital goals and create a roadmap to achieve them, aligning with overall company objectives.
    • Form a cohesive market position, including Telstra, Telstra Purple, our alliances, and new brand acquisitions integration onto the platform.
    • Analyze, evolve, and grow the component design library for Telstra Enterprise as required.
  • Website Strategy and User Experience
    • Architect a strategic framework for the enterprise website, highlighting our products, solutions, professional services, and value propositions.
    • Optimize customer experience in navigating information consumption and capturing user insights.
    • Design and implement best practice digital customer journeys for key personas to deepen engagement with enterprise customers through digital channels.
    • Improve lead flow from digital entry points to the site, across the site, and to lead calls.
    • Collaborate and work directly with customers to test experiences and collect feedback, determining opportunities to raise the overall quality of the digital experience.
  • Content and Messaging
    • Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure digital content aligns with strategic goals and resonates with target audiences.
    • Develop and curate compelling, customer-centric content that effectively communicates the value and capabilities of Telstra's Enterprise offerings.
    • Develop strategies for content personalization and dynamic content delivery to enhance user engagement and conversion.
    • Manage alignment to brand, regulatory, and technical compliance.
  • Analytics and Performance Optimization
    • Implement robust analytics frameworks to track, measure, and regularly report on digital performance through monthly/quarterly insights reporting.
    • Utilize data insights to optimize digital strategies and drive continuous improvement in engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing (TE/TB), sales, and product management, to align and prioritize digital initiatives with broader business objectives.
    • Engage and align with cross-functional mission team members and stakeholders around the product or mission vision, communicating in clear and simple terms.
    • Work within an agile environment to translate strategic OKRs into epics, resource requests, and dependencies for each quarter, working closely with the Telstra Digital team to drive execution.
    • Provide clarity for team members by ensuring their objectives align with what they are expected to deliver, and as a servant leader, empower and support the team to execute on priorities and achieve outstanding results.
  • Budget and Resource Management
    • Oversee budget allocation for digital initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve strategic goals.
    • Ensure the success of current work is showcased effectively with key stakeholders to secure ongoing funds.
    • Manage and develop a high-performing digital team, fostering growth and capability development.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Digital Transformation Strategist who can lead our digital transformation efforts. You will have a strong background in digital strategy, website development, and B2B technology experience within a telco or cloud environment. You will also have a high level of analytical skills, including strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Requirements

  • Extensive digital experience: website development, B2B technology experience within a telco or cloud environment.
  • Exposure to relevant domains, including fixed network, mobile, cloud, collaboration, etc.
  • A high level of analytical skills, including strategic thinking.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Technical skills in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Google Analytics, dashboard reporting creation, and site heat mapping tools.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
