We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a trade-qualified and experienced mechanic to play a critical role in the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our diverse fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair heavy vehicles, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability.
  • Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately.
  • Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service).
  • Promote workplace health and safety compliance and contribute to safety-focused meetings.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments is highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
  • Current Driver's Licence - HR or HC desirable.
  • White Card.
