Heavy vehicle maintenance is a critical component of our operation's success. As a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our diverse fleet. Key areas of responsibility include maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles to manufacturer specifications and industry standards, collaborating with supervisors and suppliers to ensure efficient operation, and supporting roadworthy inspections and service documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair complex heavy vehicle systems including drivetrains, hydraulics, and suspension.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
  • Promote a safety-focused culture and contribute to WHS compliance initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments highly regarded.
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
  • Current Driver's Licence - HR or HC desirable.
  • White Card.
