About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Analyst to support end-to-end investment and portfolio management activities that optimize returns for equity investors across our social infrastructure funds.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with both internal teams and external partners, gaining exposure to capital markets, acquisitions, and strategic portfolio initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investment Analysis: Identify, screen, and assess acquisitions, developments, and investment opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth macro and micro research to uncover emerging trends and inform strategic investment decisions.
  • Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models to assess income, cash flows, capex, and ESG outcomes.
  • Fund Forecasting: Collaborate with Fund Management and partners on annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and investor reporting.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track fund and asset performance against targets, analyze variances, and recommend action where needed.
  • Strategic Planning: Support feasibility studies and scenario modelling for acquisitions, disposals, developments, and capital structuring.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist with presentations and reporting for both equity and debt investors, playing a key role in relationship management.
  • Treasury Support: Manage debt facility obligations, covenant compliance, interest rate hedging strategies, and assist with refinancing activities.
  • Compliance Governance: Ensure ongoing adherence to governance and compliance requirements across the portfolio.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Property, Business or Finance.
  • Strong analytical experience, including property analytics.
  • Financial acumen, including strong accounting and mathematical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and MRI.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to develop effective relationships.
  • The ability to work autonomously, yet adapt within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of management and develop effective relationships with external liaisons and peers.
