About the Role

The Investment Portfolio Office plays a key role in driving strategic decision-making across the organisation. As an Investment Strategy and Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of investment strategies that align with our long-term goals and objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of investment lifecycle processes, including demand management, prioritisation, business case development, approval workflows, and benefits realisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining enterprise-wide investment plans to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and operational priorities.
  • Maintaining and continuously updating the Enterprise Demand Register to reflect current and emerging investment needs.
  • Facilitating the prioritisation of investment initiatives based on a balanced assessment of business value, strategic alignment, risk exposure, and delivery constraints.
  • Providing critical input into the organisation's annual budget cycle and 5-Year Outlook by translating investment priorities into financial forecasts.
Experience and Knowledge
  • Extensive experience in enterprise portfolio management, investment governance, or strategic planning within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • In-depth understanding of investment lifecycle processes, including demand management, prioritisation, business case development, approval workflows, and benefits realisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional planning and governance forums, with a strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving consensus.
