Senior Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis at our hospital.
The successful candidate will work across a diverse mix of inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and geriatric patients. They may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and conduct home visits.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services and exceptional patient care.
- At least 1-year acute hospital experience
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Current registration with the relevant health practitioner regulatory agency
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Sound knowledge of healthcare systems and referral processes
