About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients requiring rehabilitation services in various settings.

This opportunity will see you work across a diverse mix of cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and geriatric patients. You may also be involved in acute patient care, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and home visits.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services and exceptional patient care.

We have 2 part-time contract roles available:

  • 1 x 9-month temporary contract – covering maternity leave - must be available Tuesday to Friday, however, Monday to Friday availability is preferred – start date variable
  • 1 x Temporary part-time contract – minimum 2 days per week – 0.4 FTE but must be able to flex and pick up additional shifts – immediate start until November 2025
Key Requirements
  • At least 1-year experience in acute hospital settings
  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral processes
