Skilled Fitting Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to perform mechanical fitting duties on marine vessels and industrial equipment.

The successful candidate will have experience in assembly, installation, and maintenance of various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing fitting duties on marine vessels and industrial equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Conducting mechanical repairs and fault finding on various systems.
  • Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensuring work adheres to quality standards and technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of fitting experience, preferably in a marine or heavy industrial environment.
  • A good understanding of Safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment.
  • A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • The ability to work well in a team.
  • An OHS Construction Induction White Card.
