Aboriginal Sexual Assault Counsellor Job

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable families by working as an Aboriginal Sexual Assault Counsellor. Collaborate with networks at local and state levels to provide expert sexual assault counselling, case management and crisis care in a trusted community-led role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist therapeutic and case management services to child, adolescent and adult victims of sexual assault and their non-offending family members.
  • Facilitate forensic/medical services when required.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to establish trust and build relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and violence, abuse and neglect services.
