Beyond Care is seeking individuals to work in the Hills region as community support workers.
About the RoleThe role involves assisting clients with daily activities and community participation, empowering their independence and choice in their daily living supports or assistance with community access.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting clients with daily living needs, including personal care and mobility support
- Supporting clients with disabilities in day-to-day activities/tasks
- Working in a family-friendly environment
- Certificate III in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a community worker (preferred)
- Reliable vehicle, driver's license, and ability to travel with comprehensive car insurance
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Current national criminal history check or willingness to obtain one
- Current working with children's check or willingness to obtain one
- Current NDIS worker check or willingness to obtain one
- Prove right to work in Australia
- Genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance clients' lives
- Reliable and responsible attitude towards work and commitment to regular hours
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Access to smartphone
- Ability to provide person-centered approach empowering client's independence and choice
- Experience in managing challenging behaviors and ensuring safe environment for clients
- Flexibility to work hours meeting clients' needs
- Second language desirable but not essential
