About the Role

This pivotal position demands a seasoned technical expert who can orchestrate a cohesive team effort, synergizing with external partners to manage our sprawling IT infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, and multifaceted projects across 600+ sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and optimize IT system performance to identify areas for improvement, driving increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement an overarching IT strategy, architecture, and best practices to ensure seamless operations.
  • Closely monitor project progress against schedule and budget, providing insightful analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain a proactive stance on risk management, establishing comprehensive frameworks to mitigate potential threats and ensure business continuity.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with multiple third-party vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Effortlessly integrate current systems with cloud-based solutions where applicable, ensuring a seamless transition.
  • Oversee the Group's Point of Sale technology, Website, and Social Media platforms, guaranteeing uptime and optimal performance.
  • Closely scrutinize systems for security vulnerabilities, design effective countermeasures, minimize phishing threats, and present regular cyber security reports to executive staff.
