As a proactive asset inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and integrity of public assets within the shire.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting routine inspections to identify faults and develop maintenance programs, as well as performing repairs on playgrounds, sport fields, irrigation systems, street furniture, and open space programs.

A typical day will involve traveling throughout the shire to conduct inspections and perform associated works, with a small amount of office time dedicated to data entry and reporting.

Key skills and qualifications include relevant experience in a similar role, certification from a recognised Playground Inspector course, and a full Victorian licence.

Additionally, the successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual who can work independently while keeping their team up-to-date with their actions.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with fortnightly RDO, offering remuneration commensurate with experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing regular updates to the team and management on progress and any issues identified
