About the RoleThis permanent part-time position involves working 3 consecutive days a week (21 hours).
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Family Dispute Resolution sessions with families experiencing conflict post-separation, focusing on child-related and property matters.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of FDRPs and therapists to offer holistic support to families.
- Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner by the Australian Attorney-General's Department, or eligibility for accreditation.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, psychology, or social work.
- Understanding of child inclusive mediation practice and its purpose.
- Knowledge of family law legislation.
- Understanding of community services, particularly those related to family issues.
- Awareness of child protection concerns.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to team functioning.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Meet program-specific client targets.
