Senior Control Assurance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled senior advisor to lead our control assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing control reviews, identifying and assessing control issues, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
">Responsibilities- Plan and execute control reviews aligned to the financial year assurance plan.
- Identify and assess control issues using sound judgement and a risk-focused mindset.
- Present high-quality reports and outcomes to stakeholders across the business and senior leadership.
- Mentor and support junior analysts and advisors reviewing their work and building capability within the team.
- Contribute to broader risk initiatives including control attestations, board reporting, and process improvements.
- At least 3 years of experience in controls, audit, or risk ideally within financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of internal controls frameworks and risk assurance methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to present contentious findings and defend your position.
- A sharp eye for detail with the discipline to follow structured review processes from end to end.
- A proactive autonomous working style comfortable taking ownership and driving work through to completion.
