Quality Assurance and Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance and Control Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control measures across the organization.

About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of expertise in quality assurance and control. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and quality management systems, and will have experience working in a similar role.

  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures and policies
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality-related topics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor certification
  • Valid certifications in welding inspection (CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI), painting inspection (BGAS Grade 2 / NACE Level 2), and non-destructive testing (NDT) Level 2
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in major construction projects, including solar power plant construction
  • Prior experience as a QA/QC Engineer or equivalent role
