What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute control reviews aligned to the financial year assurance plan, including walkthroughs, testing, and reporting.
  • Identify and assess control issues, using sound judgement and a risk-focused mindset to calibrate and communicate findings.
  • Write high-quality reports and present outcomes to stakeholders across the business and senior leadership.
  • Mentor and support Analysts and Advisors, reviewing their work and building capability within the team.
  • Contribute to broader risk initiatives including control attestations, board reporting, and process improvements.
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in controls, audit, or risk—ideally within financial services, Big 4, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls frameworks and risk assurance methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to present contentious findings and defend your position.
  • A sharp eye for detail, with the discipline to follow structured review processes from end to end.
  • A proactive, autonomous working style—comfortable taking ownership and driving work through to completion.
