Disability Support Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to assist clients with intellectual disabilities in their daily lives.

The successful candidate will be a key part of our team, providing active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans.

This role involves delivering personal care tasks, facilitating community access and transport, and building trusted relationships with clients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centered support to clients with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist with daily personal care tasks such as toileting, showering, and dressing
  • Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
  • Facilitate community access and transport using vehicles or public transport
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records
Requirements
  • Willingness to work active night shifts, split shifts, short shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full)
  • Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient individual
  • Experience in disability support an advantage
  • Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability desirable
