**Disability Support Worker - SIL**

**Location: Central Coast NSW**

**Salary: $41.76 to $45.58**

Coastwide Community Care is committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. Our Specialist Independent Living (SIL) program provides personalized support, fostering independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our participants.

**About the Role**:
As a SIL Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and assistance tailored to the needs and preferences of our participants. Your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Supporting participants to engage in community activities.
- Encouraging independence and promoting skills development.
- Administering medication and monitoring health needs (training provided).
- Maintaining accurate records and communication with the support team.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Empathetic, patient, and passionate about supporting people with disabilities.
- Experienced in a similar role (preferred but not essential—training provided).
- Holders of a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Possess relevant certifications, such as First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledgeable about or willing to learn about NDIS and SIL frameworks.
- Excellent work ethics, have strong sense of professional boundaries and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Time Management/Flexibility.
