Work at Adelaide International Airport as a Passenger Service Delivery Agent with dnata-travel-group, the world's leading Ground Handler. This is a unique opportunity to provide timely and efficient professional passenger service functions.

The role involves ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met while adhering to clients' requirements during an aircraft turnaround and achieving required KPIs for our clients.

This evening role requires working between 5:00pm to 11:00pm, with most shifts being 4 hours long on a 7 day rotating roster.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service for all client airlines and meet customer service requirements in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Carry out passenger check-in duties and other responsibilities commensurate with passenger service for customer airlines.
  • Complete necessary paperwork on time and report incidents as per service delivery agreements and company policies.
  • Assist passengers during disrupted or delayed services and those requiring special assistance such as wheelchair assistance to and from aircrafts.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Company Policies to guarantee the safety of passengers and employees, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Report any incidents immediately and maintain awareness of obligations involved in reporting incidents.
  • Follow procedures within regulations set out by individual requirements of client airlines.
  • Built strong relationships with airport services team members and client airline employees/delegates.
  • Promote and maintain a positive image (including grooming, behaviours, and service).
  • Lead and participate as a team member to communicate work and company requirements accurately and in good time.
Essential Criteria:
  • Commitment to corporate values and operating procedures.
  • Adherence to all company safety, policy, procedures, and processes.
  • Desirable experience in customer service-oriented roles.
  • Experience in dealing with difficult situations with clients and high-volume, personalised customer service.
  • Ability to handle pressured and stressful job situations successfully.
  • Ability to work within a team, sharing information and providing support to ensure a coordinated approach to customer requirements during aircraft operation.
  • Effective communication with people from various backgrounds and handling confidential and sensitive situations.
  • Ability to handle baggage up to 32kg.
  • Ability to assist special needs passengers.
  • Proactive, self-starting, and able to manage multiple issues effectively.
  • Ability to work unsupervised at times and in a changing, fast-paced team environment.

Employment is conditional upon a satisfactory security clearance and a pre-employment medical/Drug & Alcohol test.
