Pricing Specialist Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing pricing markdowns and promotions for our Asia Pacific Division. This role requires the ability to analyze data, create reports, and maintain databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management:
    • Broken SKUs: Downloading broken SKUs, creating pricing lists for stores, and establishing inventory levels.
    • In-Season Markdowns: Calculating markdown costs based on planners' and buyers' requests.
    • Aged Markdowns: Creating lists and calculating markdown costs for aged items to meet corporate targets.
    • Store-Specific Promotions: Developing promotions in line with real estate calendars or store-specific overstocked products.
  • Business Analysis:
    • Analyzing sales trends, customer purchasing patterns, and conversion rates to increase productivity and enhance sales.
    • Providing recommendations to improve deal success, price change success, and customer loyalty.
  • Pricing Database Maintenance:
    • Maintaining and updating the pricing database with current pricing actions for stores and e-commerce platforms.
    • Leveraging pricing tools to remain competitive and maximize sales and margins.
    Requirements:
    • Familiarity with retail industry operations and product departments.
    • Solid understanding of sales and operations, as well as merchandising principles.
    • Proficiency in Office 365, Advance Excel, and PowerBI.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate initiative.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Provide valuable operational advice and functional support to internal and external customers.
    • Maintain organizational core values at work and represent the APAC team at external functions.
    • Adhere to company policies and guidelines and comply with audit standards.
    • Monitor emerging issues, trends, and best practices in finance and accounting, and recommend improvements.
