Native Title Claims Specialist

The Legal Case Manager, Native Title plays a pivotal role in supporting Judges, Registrars, parties and legal practitioners to navigate designated native title claims through litigation and/or alternative dispute resolution.
This position reports directly to the Senior Legal Case Manager (Native Title) and National Judicial Registrar. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating case management hearings, mediations and remote hearings as directed by the Senior Legal Case Manager or Judicial Registrar on designated files.
- Providing administrative support to Registrars, Mediators and Senior Legal Case Managers in the case management of native title claims, including implementing claim-specific strategies.
- Preparing for, attending and managing tasks arising from case management hearings and mediations on designated files.
- Maintaining strong relationships with Court users, liaising with parties to progress matters and ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
