Position Overview
The Legal Case Manager (Native Title) is responsible for providing administrative support to the Court in relation to native title claims, ensuring seamless case management and effective dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate listings and logistical arrangements for hearings and remote proceedings as directed by Senior Legal Case Managers or Judicial Registrars.
- Collaborate with Registrars, mediators and Senior Legal Case Managers in case management of native title claims, implementing claim-specific strategies.
- Prepare for, attend and manage tasks arising from hearings and mediations, ensuring timely completion.
- Nurture positive relationships with stakeholders, liaise with parties and respond to their needs in a professional manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and Court procedures to provide accurate information about the jurisdiction, legislation and procedures.
- Contribute to special projects, including drafting complex reports and contributing to service improvements.
