As a Compliance Officer for Native Title Management, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective delivery of Native Title and Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) commitments. Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative and project support by inspecting, reporting, auditing, and monitoring Crown land under native title claims or ILUAs.

You will undertake risk assessments, coordinate compliance outcomes, and engage in educational initiatives to promote lawful and sustainable land use. Strong analytical skills are required to assess and interpret Crown land use data, informing strategic decisions and compliance actions. Excellent communication skills are also essential to effectively liaise with stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, government agencies, and land users.

Proven experience in project management is necessary to coordinate and oversee multiple compliance activities and educational initiatives. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment, is also critical.
